2. 암호화 방식
- 마스터 비밀번호는 Argon2id 키 유도 함수(KDF)로 처리되며, 원문은 어디에도 저장되지 않습니다.
- 모든 데이터는 AES-256-GCM으로 암호화되어 기기에 저장됩니다.
- 개발사는 자체 서버를 운영하지 않으므로, 데이터가 개발사로 전송되는 일은 없습니다.
- 이 구조상 마스터 비밀번호를 잊으면 개발사도 데이터를 복구해 드릴 수 없습니다.

4. Google Drive 백업 (선택 기능)
- Google Drive 자동 백업은 기본적으로 꺼져 있습니다.
- 사용자가 설정에서 명시적으로 켠 경우에만, 암호화된 백업 파일(.modora)이 사용자의 Google Drive에 전송됩니다.
- 앱은 Google Drive의 앱 전용 데이터 폴더(drive.appdata)에만 접근하며, 사용자의 다른 Drive 파일은 보거나 수정할 수 없습니다.
- Google 로그인 과정에서 Google 계정 이메일과 OAuth 토큰이 처리될 수 있으며, 이는 백업 기능 제공 목적으로만 기기에서 사용됩니다.
- 백업 파일 역시 업로드 전에 암호화되므로, Google Drive에 올라간 파일도 마스터 비밀번호 없이는 열 수 없습니다.
5. 데이터 삭제
- 앱 내 로컬 초기화는 기기에 저장된 데이터를 삭제합니다.
- 단, Google Drive에 백업된 파일은 자동으로 삭제되지 않으며, 사용자가 Google Drive에서 별도로 삭제해야 합니다. (Drive 설정 → 앱 관리 → Modora → 숨겨진 앱 데이터 삭제)
- 앱을 삭제해도 사용자가 선택한 보관 경로의 백업 파일과 Google Drive 백업은 유지될 수 있습니다.
6. 이용자의 권리와 데이터 관리
- 열람·수정·삭제: 모든 데이터는 앱 안에서 직접 열람·수정·삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 내보내기: 설정에서 암호화된 백업 파일(.modora)로 내보낼 수 있으며, CSV 일괄 등록도 지원합니다.
- 복원: 백업 파일로 다른 기기나 재설치 후에 데이터를 복원할 수 있습니다.

encrypted and stored on your device. We operate no servers of our own
and cannot access your data.
1. Data We Store
Modora stores the following data only on your device:
- Secret memos (title, content, site information)
- Passwords and password revision history
- Attachments (images, PDFs, archives)
- Schedules (birthdays, anniversaries, expiry dates) and reminder settings
We do not collect any of this data, and we do not collect personal data for analytics or advertising.
2. Encryption
- Your master password is processed with the Argon2id key-derivation function; the password itself is never stored anywhere.
- All data is encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM.
- We operate no servers, so your data is never transmitted to us.
- Because of this design, if you forget your master password, we cannot recover your data.

Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature; declining does not affect other features.
4. Google Drive Backup (Optional)
- Automatic Google Drive backup is OFF by default.
- Only when you explicitly enable it in Settings is an encrypted backup file (.modora) uploaded to your Google Drive.
- The app accesses only Google Drive's app-private data folder (drive.appdata); it cannot see or modify any of your other Drive files.
- During Google sign-in, your Google account email and OAuth tokens may be processed, solely on-device and solely to provide the backup feature.
- Backup files are encrypted before upload, so even the file in your Google Drive cannot be opened without your master password.
5. Deleting Your Data
- The in-app local reset deletes the data stored on your device.
- However, backups in Google Drive are not deleted automatically — remove them yourself in Google Drive (Settings → Manage apps → Modora → Delete hidden app data).
- Uninstalling the app may leave backup files in your chosen backup location and in Google Drive.
6. Your Rights and Data Management
- Access, edit, delete: all data can be viewed, edited, and deleted directly in the app.
- Export: Settings lets you export an encrypted backup file (.modora); CSV bulk import is also supported.
- Restore: backups can be restored on another device or after reinstalling.
